Ejeca

Ejeca
Ejeca, also known as Garry McCartney, stands as one of Belfast's most prominent musical exports in recent years, emerging from the vibrant Northern Irish scene. Despite his rising fame, Ejeca remains remarkably down-to-earth, earning the respect and recognition of his musical peers. Focused on his craft, he has consistently delivered exceptional releases, placing music before hype.

Today, Ejeca is a firmly established name, renowned for his exceptional output of high-quality house and credible techno. His artistry has earned him unwavering support from influential tastemakers, including Solomun, Job Jobse, The Blessed Madonna, Kolsch, Joris Voorn, Laurent Garnier, Bicep, Camelphat and many others.

For Ejeca, there’s a big single, ‘Do You Believe’, coming out on EMI in October and Gary took the time to sit-down with Mix Mag to discuss his upcoming release. "It’s the first big Ejeca one I’ve done in years with putting everything into Trance Wax and goes right back to my house roots. Next year there could also be a very exciting project with a DJ who lives in America - a semi-live hybrid, French house disco thing, but I can’t say too much about that. It’ll be completely different, really going back to my house roots as with Ejeca. Summery, house fun, semi-live, type of thing!"

With a bustling schedule of worldwide DJ tours, an impressive roster of releases, Ejeca shows no signs of slowing down. Continuously impressing key tastemakers and music connoisseurs, he remains a steadfast purveyor of electronic music, leaving an indelible mark on the global dance music landscape.
