As a key figure in the underground, Jansons continues to evolve into new realms while staying true to the realness of original house music with an electronic twist. His well-crafted sounds come on cult labels like Circoloco, HMGRWN, PIV, and Disorder, with his own label set to arrive later in 2025.
After serving up one of some of the biggest records of recent years on Circus Recordings, Jansons repeated the trick in 2022 with prolific producer Skream on their collaborative single 'World Is Empty'. It's a powerful track with epic breakbeats, a classic Supremes sample and a driving electro bassline that is lighting up global dance floors and daytime radio alike.
‘World Is Empty’ was one of many Jansons and Skream wrote during lockdown. Initially a secret weapon for their own DJ sets, the reactions from it were so wild it made sense to release it into the world via the influential CircoLoco Records. Jansons’ upcoming release schedule is a testament to his hard work and dedication, with further collaborations with Skream as well as Richy Ahmed to come, not to mention plenty more solo records.
In the studio, Jansons takes a fluid, instinctive approach. There is no rigid formula, just creativity and joy, so his grooves hit like no other. Most recently, he's cut through with 'Messan' on PIV - a contemporary anthem that continues to get played by DJs all across the scene.
As well as serving up compelling DJ sets at fabric London, Ushuaia and Cova Santa Ibiza, Thuishaven Amsterdam, and TRMNL in Birmingham, Jansons' hybrid live show continues to woo global crowds as he deconstructs then reworks his own originals and fresh edits on the fly. Following a busy period in the studio, many new singles and EPs are lined up on the scene's best labels and will keep Jansons firmly at the forefront and shaping the house world in his own style.
