Embarking on an awe-inspiring journey, London based DJ/Producer Ozzie Guven has risen to prominence as one of the most sought-after architects of underground UK house music. His career as a producer is a testament to his commitment to pushing artistic boundaries and unearthing unexplored sonic landscapes. With an innate ardor for sound and a fascination with the intricacies of music, Ozzie Guven's story is one of evolution and creative fervour.  

  

Imbued with inspiration from the UKs underground music culture from an early age, Ozzie Guven was electrified and inspired by the resonances of 90s culture. His journey began with learning piano, providing Ozzie with his first musical weapon. Building on this foundation, he delved into the legacies of musical pioneers such as Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, MJ Cole, and Shy FX, sowing the seeds for his own distinctive sound.  

  

The hallmarks of Ozzie Guven's odyssey came to life through his DJ exploits, spinning infectious Grime, Garage and jungle records across various London venues. This then paved the way for his own show on Select FM, solidifying his foothold in the UK music industry. However, it was only after the confines of 2021’s lockdown that Ozzie truly leaped onto the scene. 

  

Catalysing his ascendancy, Ozzie Guven set the stage ablaze with the release of the 'Dubaholics EP’ on Seb Zito's prestigious Seven Dials Records. This remarkable production swiftly ascended to chart-topping heights, securing the coveted #1 spot in the Minimal/Deep Tech category on Beatport.The year 2022 emerged as a pivotal turning point, with Ozzie embarking on his inaugural UK tour, commanding stages across the nation's most prominent venues and events over an intense 8-week period.   

  

In 2023, Ozzie Guven's musical prowess transcended borders as he captivated European audiences, gracing illustrious venues across Holland & Italy. Despite his international success, his influence in the UK remained unwavering, further solidifying his reputation. Admirers of his multifaceted approach include industry heavyweights like Marco Carola, Michael Bibi, and the Martinez Brothers, who seamlessly incorporate his sound into their global performances.  


The latter half of 2023 propelled Ozzie Guven into the stratosphere as he unleashed his "My Jam EP" on Sidney Charles' renowned “Heavy House Society” label, swiftly followed by the "Bassline Pumping EP" on Archie Hamilton's esteemed Microhertz imprint, with both EP's reaching, again, number #1 in the minimal/deep tech Beatport charts for a number of consecutive weeks.


Subsequently, he delivered a single for Max Dean's highly anticipated “neXup Recz”, further underscoring Ozzie Guven's steadfast dedication to innovation, pushing boundaries, and broadening artistic horizons. With each composition and performance, he solidifies his status as a visionary in electronic music, leaving an enduring impact on the industry.  

  

Now fully immersed in 2024, Ozzie Guven has already graced prestigious venues such as “Warehouse Project Manchester” and London's iconic “Fabric”. With upcoming performances slated at “Off-Sonar” Barcelona, several shows across Ibiza's most legendary venues, and a return trip to Italy’s “After Caposile”, it's evident that Ozzie Guven shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
